Aha! is where community leaders unite to make a lasting impact. We create strategic plans that align stakeholders and strengthen community and economic development.

 

We are named for our founder, Amy Holloway, and draw from her 30-year career as a prominent national strategist for more than 200 economic development and community organizations. Her clients have included some of the best performing economies in the country. Amy established Aha! in 2024 after serving as founder and president of Avalanche Consulting from 2005-2020, and partner and national director of economic development services for Ernst & Young from 2020-2024.

 

Our clients span economic development organizations, chambers of commerce, local governments, and nonprofits. We tailor our services — including strategic planning, research, and facilitation — to each client’s unique needs, bringing people together to transform ambition into action.

Our research-driven approach centers on building trust among community leaders, a crucial factor differentiating thriving regions from stagnant ones. We foster trust through broad stakeholder engagement, active listening, impartial perspectives, and uncovering shared priorities. We're so passionate about trust building that we have written a book on the topic, Trust Builders, that will be available in early 2026.
